We all struggle at times in our life, and sometimes we need a professional to help explore who we are, why we do what we do and why we can find it difficult to move forward. As a busy working Mum, I completely understand the struggle with trying to be everything to everyone, the pressure to be, and do everything perfectly while often not feeling good enough. I am passionate about supporting you to make progress rather than perfection, to overcome the feelings of stress and overwhelm and create a calm and balanced life.

When I am not in my clinic, you will find me working towards my own work / life balance by spending time with my family, enjoying the seaside, eating out with friends, or at a Pilates class. I am looking forward to getting to know you too.
Hi, I'm Kelly
Thank you for visiting my website.
I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist with years of experience helping people to make sense of and overcome their difficulties. I started my career in the NHS and founded my successful private practice in 2013.

I have a wealth of experience in helping adults heal from past experiences, get unstuck and become the best version of themselves. My training to become a psychologist has given me the skills and experience to work with a wide range of mental health difficulties and I am highly skilled in several evidence based therapies, including CBT, ACT and EMDR.
My Experience
I have trained for many years to be a psychologist. After gaining my psychology degree , I started my career working with, and supporting people with addictions and completed my Doctorate in Counselling Psychology in 2011. This was followed by completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in 2012.
I have worked in the NHS helping adults overcome mild to severe mental health problems in various settings and I have been working in private practice since 2013.
I have also completed additional training in Mindfulness skills, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) and I use all these approaches in my therapy.
